Day of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan was celebrated on November 24 in the conference hall of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan. First, Deputy Minister of Transport Shoista Saidmurodzoda, on behalf of the leadership of the ministry, congratulated the audience on the holiday and spoke about the location of the State Flag as one of the sacred national values ​​of its historical path.

The national flag is a symbol of the independence and sovereignty of each state, and countries are presented to the world through their flags. The state flag of the Republic of Tajikistan is a step towards the independence of our Motherland and, along with the Constitution, the State Emblem, the State Anthem and the national currency, is one of the state shrines, adopted at the historical and fateful 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan in November 1992. The fate of the new flag of the Tajik people begins with this historic meeting, at which the future of the Tajik national state was outlined, the Deputy Minister said.
Then Safarzoda Maksud, head of the legal department of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, Muzaffarzoda Marjona, specialist of the financial and accounting department, Hikmati Nemat, head of the weekly "Nakliot" and Khojaev Muhammadi, expressed their opinion on the essence, history and significance of the State flag of the Republic of Tajikistan.
