September 29, 2014 – signing of the Grant agreement between Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and Japan International Cooperation (JICA), which was approved by the Parliament of the Republic of Tajikistan on October 1, 2017.
November 30, 2015 – was held a tender for the selection of a Supplier for delivery of ILS and PALS equipment and on December 2, 2015 was signed a contract between Dushanbe International Airport and “ADDED VALUE CORPORATION (Japan)”.
December 12, 2016 – in Tokyo was held a tender for the selection of a Contractor for construction of cargo terminal in Dushanbe International Airport. On December 26-27, 2016 was signed a Contract between Dushanbe International Airport and “Nippon Construction” (Japan) for construction of a cargo terminal.
